Mr. Pouliot has more than 30 years of experience in forestry. The expertise of his family, who has lived near lumber mills for generations, naturally led him to Daaquam Lumber in 1975, where he became operations manager in 1987. Fifty-percent shareholder and executive board member of the company, he sold Daaquam Lumber in May 2003 and left his position as vice-president of operations in December 2003. From 1988 to 2010, Mr. Pouliot was in charge of operations at Stetson Timberlands Inc.
Since 2002, he has been a maple forest owner and has devoted himself to his passion for maple sugar production for a few months each year. He remains in charge of operations at Doryfor Inc.
